On July 18th 2005 the Board of Health passed the final draft of the ambulance licensure rules. The process now rests with the county commissioners to develop or revise county resolutions to come in line with these new rules. It's important to remember that event though the effective date is in September 2005. It will still take some time for resolutions to be drafted. It's also important to remember that these rules are the minimum requirement and counties can add provisions/restrictions but cannot take away from same.
